Out of School is designed for ages 6 to 12 years old. The most important goal of our out of school program is to give children a positive sense of themselves. The children are encouraged to try new things, learn new skills and explore their environment further. Teachers encourage children to be inquisitive, to ask questions and learn different ways in expressing themselves.We always strive to help children develop confidence, independence and a desire to learn. When the children arrive each morning, they have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities like:· Arts & Crafts· Blocks· Dramatic Play· Reading . We also provide computers for children to help with their home work, and staff are always glad to give helpful tips.
Morning & Afternoon snack provided. Lunch to be provided by family/guardians. We request that the younger children have an extra change of cloths.
Pickup/drop off from nearby schools (Elmwood, Our Lady of Victories, Patricia Heights, Lynwood & Rio Terrace) is free. In other cases, a small fee may be charged depending on the distance from school. But we are happy to be flexible.
